Role Overview We are looking for an enthusiastic Early Careers Teacher (ECT) who is passionate about their subject and eager to make a positive impact on students' lives. Key Responsibilities - Teaching & Learning: Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons to students across a range of abilities, ensuring they are motivated and inspired to reach their full potential.
- Personalised Support: Provide tailored support to students, helping them achieve academic success while developing essential life skills.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, respectful, and safe learning environment with a focus on behaviour for learning.
- Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development, including mentoring, training, and reflection on your practice.
- Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues in your department and across the school to share ideas, resources, and best practices.
- Parent/Carer Engagement: Build positive relationships with parents and carers to support students' academic and personal development.
- School Community: Contribute to extracurricular activities, school events, and the overall ethos of the school.
Qualifications and Skills - Essential:
- Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) status.
- A genuine passion for your subject area and a commitment to inspiring students.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- A strong commitment to inclusive education and equal opportunities.
- Desire to continually improve and develop as a teacher.
- Desirable:
- Experience or interest in developing innovative teaching methods or extracurricular activities.
- Knowledge or experience of working with students with diverse learning needs.
